OUT OF NOWHERE

Out Of Nowhere is a short film about an old lifeguard. For years, he has taken care of the same swimming pool, and for years, the pool has stayed completely dry. One day, a peculiar visit from an unexpected guest disturbs his peace. A clumsy chicken decides to sit in the empty pool and claims its territory. The old man does everything in his power to get it out of the pool and to keep his dream alive.
Out Of Nowhere was made as a graduation film from the Bezalel Academy for Art and Design in Jerusalem. The film has been shown in many animation festivals all over the world including Asif Festival in Tel Aviv where It was selected for best student animation film, in Tricky Women Festival in Vienna where it got a special mention, in Noche de Monos in Chile in which it won third prize. It was also presented in Germany in the Stuttgart Film Festival as part of the Israeli program and in the European Media Art Festival in Osnabruck.
