Illuminated is a short film that gives the viewer a glimpse of a magical little colony of creatures. Taking reference from the harmonious ecosystems in nature, it shows how different species benefit from the existence of one another and able to overcome obstacles in a natural way. 

Since contrast and light play a main role in the story of Illuminated, the film was designed and and directed in a way which emphasize the differences between light and shadow and the scale of the characters.
